San Francisco Repair Questions

Should I ship or drive from SF?

Either works. Shipping avoids the bridge entirely — we send packing instructions and a video of your machine running before it ships back. Driving means you can see the showroom and talk to the tech working on your machine.

Do you offer on-site service in San Francisco?

For commercial machines, yes — we service SF cafes, restaurants, and offices on-site. Home machines ship to us (most SF customers' choice) or come to our Berkeley shop over the Bay Bridge.

Can I walk in, or do I need an appointment?

Repair drop-offs are by appointment. Pickups are welcome any time we're open — Monday–Friday, 12–5pm — though booking a pickup time means less waiting. Want to browse or try the new machines in our showroom? Walk-ins are welcome for that, but an appointment gets you dedicated time with a tech and less waiting.

How long does a repair take?

Most repairs are done in 3–4 weeks including parts ordering. You get a written estimate after diagnosis — no work begins until you approve it — and a short video of your machine running before pickup or return shipping.

Is my machine worth fixing?

For most machines over $800, repair costs significantly less than replacement. If it doesn't make financial sense, we'll tell you honestly — call (510) 859-4425 and we'll triage over the phone in 5 minutes, free.

Is the repair guaranteed?

Yes — every repair is backed by a 90-day parts & labor warranty. If the same problem comes back within 90 days, we make it right at no charge.
